Role Overview
Rig Administrator based in Saudi Arabia with Helmerich & Payne (H&P). This position reports directly to the Tool Pusher and manages all administrative activities related to crew operations and rig administration, including material logistics.
Role Purpose
Manage and execute all administrative activities related to crew operations and assist the Tool Pusher with rig administration jobs, including material logistics. The Rig Administrator is responsible for all rig communication and logistical organization within H&P Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Personnel Management
- Supervise Rig and Ambulance drivers and Gate guards.
- Brief arriving personnel and collect details from all personnel.
- Responsible for all personnel movements from the rig.
- Responsible for in-country flight booking for crew change and other personnel movements.
Communication and Logistics
- Maintain communication and logistics between the rig and H&P base, flights (if required), crew change, and equipment movement.
- Distribute morning reports as required.
- Ensure Gate Guards are following procedures.
Administrative Operations
- Carry out administration and material logistic work as directed by the Tool Pusher.
- Maintain the Rig and Camp filing and reporting system.
- Brief and collect details from all arriving personnel.
- Keep confidential all information received or transmitted and do not distribute such information without Tool Pusher approval.
Personnel Records and Documentation
- Update and maintain the EDRS POB list and room allocation.
- Custodian of original HSE Passports; keep all employee original HSE Passports working on the rig under custody.
- Ensure the Emergency Response Plan contact list is up to date.
- Responsible for updating the Training Matrix and inform the Training focal point in base office for future course booking.
- Responsible for updating and monitoring the Short Service Employee program.
Medical and Safety Support
- Supply the Medic with supporting administrative tasks.
- Manage and control the Safe Journey Management system.
SAP and Systems Management
- Raise all rig Purchase Requisitions within SAP.
- Update daily materials consumption within SAP and EDRS.
- Manage goods receipt and material transfer requests in SAP.
- Update SAP certification for operations equipment and materials.
Additional Duties
- Perform all other relevant duties as required by the Tool Pusher.
Additional Information
- Reports directly to the Tool Pusher.
- Directed by the Senior Tool Pusher.
