Role Overview

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) & Reporting Consultant with Xebia, based in Abu Dhabi. This is a customer-facing onsite role supporting a recently implemented SAP SuccessFactors ECP solution.

Role Purpose

Manage and support SAP SuccessFactors ECP operations post-go-live, ensuring smooth payroll processing, resolving production issues, delivering functional support, and maintaining compliance with UAE payroll regulations and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations & Support

• Manage onsite SAP SuccessFactors ECP support operations for a recently go-live environment.
• Provide functional and production support for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Support payroll validation, reconciliation, statutory compliance, and payroll audits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE payroll regulations and local statutory requirements where applicable.

Incident & Issue Management

• Handle payroll incidents, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Process enhancement requests and support payroll processing improvements.
• Coordinate with offshore support teams and ensure SLA adherence.

Payroll Configuration

• Configure and support payroll schemas, rules, wage types, payroll functions, and payroll processes.
• Monitor payroll interfaces, replication jobs, integrations, and middleware-related activities.
• Support integration between SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and support SAP SuccessFactors reports using Ad Hoc Reporting, Report Stories, Canvas Reports, and SAP Analytics/Embedded Reporting.

Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with business users, HR teams, payroll teams, and technical teams to ensure smooth payroll processing.
• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, interfaces, and reporting enhancements.

Knowledge Management & Governance

• Prepare functional specifications, support documents, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Participate in hypercare, stabilization, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of overall SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementations delivered.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Strong experience in AMS/support projects and post go-live support engagements.
• Experience handling payroll production support and payroll issue resolution.
• Good understanding of Employee Central to ECP integration and replication processes.
• Expertise in payroll processing, payroll control center, payroll schemas, and rules.
• Experience in payroll reconciliation and year-end payroll activities.
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Experience with UAE Payroll and Middle East payroll processes (preferred).
• Knowledge of UAE labor laws, statutory compliance, and payroll regulations (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Proficiency in SuccessFactors reporting tools: Ad Hoc Reports, Report Stories, Canvas Reports.
• Experience with SAP CPI/Integration Center (preferred).
• Exposure to SAP Time Management and Employee Central (preferred).
• Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing onsite role.

Additional Information

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Certification – Mandatory.
• Additional SAP SuccessFactors certifications are an advantage.
