Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer - On site - 6 Months - Octopus by RTG

Role Overview

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer position with Robusta (Octopus by RTG), located on site in the UAE. This is a 6-month contract role.

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions by translating business and marketing requirements into scalable technical implementations. Partner with stakeholders, architects, and developers to deliver integrated SFMC solutions that support marketing automation and customer engagement at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development

• Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce development standards, security requirements, and implementation best practices.

Marketing Automation and Customer Journeys

• Build and manage customer journeys using Journey Builder and marketing automation workflows using Automation Studio.
• Develop and maintain email templates, dynamic content, landing pages, and personalized communications using AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Configure and manage Data Extensions, Contact Builder, segmentation, and audience management.

Integration and Systems

• Develop integrations between SFMC, Salesforce platforms, and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration approaches.
• Support enterprise-level Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integration initiatives.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to SFMC campaigns, integrations, automation, and data.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.

Stakeholder and Team Collaboration

• Work directly with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements, present solutions, and provide technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Marketing teams, and other technology teams.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) development and implementation.
• Experience delivering enterprise-level Salesforce solutions and integrations.
• Relevant Salesforce certification(s) required.

Skills & Competencies

• Expert-level knowledge of SFMC capabilities including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
• Hands-on proficiency with AMPscript, SQL, and API integrations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and business stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.

Additional Information

• Must be available to work on site in the UAE.
• Contract duration: 6 months.
