Role Overview
Sales Manager at Hilton, responsible for generating and managing group sales while delivering memorable hospitality experiences to guests.
Role Purpose
Generate and convert new business, build and maintain client relationships, and develop targeted sales strategies to drive group sales, grow room revenue, and maximize overall profitability for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals.
- Generate and convert new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments.
- Nurture existing accounts and develop new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Analyze hotel and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals.
- Develop targeted sales strategies.
Sales Execution
- Prepare proposals and conduct site visits with prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process.
Operations & Administration
- Coordinate customer requirements including room, food and beverage, and meeting space.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel's sales management system.
- Manage booking details.
