Role Overview
Sales Manager – GCC & Middle East (Channels/Distribution) at Revvity, based in Saudi Arabia (remote).

Role Purpose
Develop and execute a channel and partner strategy for the GCC & Middle East region, managing existing and recruiting new distributors and channel partners to drive sales of the company's diagnostic, life sciences, and automation portfolio through an indirect model.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Partnership Development
- Develop and execute a channel/partner strategy for the GCC & Middle East region, excluding Turkey, covering distributors, system integrators, end-user labs, imaging facilities, pre-clinical research organisations, and biopharma sites.
- Manage existing distributors and recruit/qualify new channel partners.
- Set commercial terms, quotas, training, performance review, incentive schemes, and joint business plans with partners.
- Establish deep knowledge of the KSA market, including major labs, public and private healthcare networks, life sciences research institutes, automation budgets, and procurement cycles.
Sales & Portfolio Management
- Drive sales of the portfolio via channels: reproductive health diagnostic kits and systems, life sciences instruments and automation including sample prep, imaging, high-content screening, and animal imaging.
- Drive sales of infectious disease assays including T-SPOT.TB automation and workflows.
- Achieve sales targets via the indirect model in the region.
Channel Operations & Performance
- Oversee distributor performance: sales pipeline, forecasting, margin management, inventory, promotional programmes, and joint marketing activities.
- Manage complex distributor ecosystems and drive growth through partners.
- Maintain strong analytical skills in forecasting, pipeline management, channel metrics, and margin discipline.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with regional product line managers, marketing, technical service, and regulatory teams to support launches, regulatory clearance in KSA, UAE, and GCC, customer training, and after-sales support.
- Develop deep knowledge of GCC regulatory frameworks and regional logistics requirements, including SFDA, MOHAP, DHA, and other local authority approvals, distributor importation processes, warehousing, cold-chain management, and customs regulations.
Market Intelligence & Representation
- Monitor competitor activities, distributor landscape, and market trends in diagnostics automation, animal imaging, and high-content screening.
- Communicate market insights to global management.
- Attend partner conferences, industry trade shows, and distributor meetings.
- Represent Revvity in the region.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Travel regionally across GCC and Middle East as required (30-40%).
- Engage with cross-functional global teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
- 8-12 years' experience in sales or channel management in the diagnostics, life sciences, or automation industry.
- Strong exposure in the GCC & Middle East, specifically in KSA.
- Proven success in managing distributors and channels, achieving sales targets via indirect model in the region.
- Strong operational understanding of automation, high-content screening, imaging systems, animal imaging, or instrumentation business.
- Strong diagnostics portfolio experience in reproductive health and infectious disease is highly desirable.
- Deep network in KSA and GCC, including major labs, life sciences research institutes, distributor community, and procurement organisations.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop joint business plans and manage complex distributor ecosystems.
- Strong analytical skills: forecasting, pipeline management, channel metrics, margin discipline.
Additional Information
- Travel readiness across the region required.
- Prior experience launching diagnostic and automation solutions in Saudi Arabia, including registration and clearance, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of Gulf healthcare and regulatory environment, distributor contracts, incentive models, and public and private procurement dynamics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in pre-clinical research or animal imaging business in the region is preferred but not mandatory.
