Sales Designer_Home Centre

Role Overview

Sales Designer - Home Centre at Land Mark. This role is an Interior Designer responsible for managing inventory from budget preparation to final clearance in consultation with the relevant concept manager, while achieving objectives and goals set by regional management for inventory distribution and balancing.

Role Purpose

Support the B2B team in creating stylistically strong concepts for clients that offer visual and functional solutions using Home Centre products, while ensuring customer commitments are met on time and all client design specifications are fulfilled through comprehensive follow-up and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

• Support B2B team in creation of a stylistically strong concept for the client that offers visual and functional solutions of Home Centre products to meet client satisfaction
• Prepare work briefs based on client interaction to understand the requirement aided by secondary research
• Combine the Home Centre offer with appropriate selection of other elements such as textile, material, color, texture, lighting and other factors to create a better solution for homes
• Identify and understand the structural requirements of the design solution with adequate focus on health and safety issues, building codes and other relevant technical aspects

Client Consultation & Assistance

• Provide detailed assistance to clients during the selection process of fabrics, color palettes, window treatments, lighting, carpets, floor tiles, artwork, paint, wallpaper and accessories through product samples or mood boards
• Produce mood boards for presentation to clients
• Ensure all client design specifications are duly met through follow-up communication, home visits, set up and customer feedback on the service provided

Documentation & Technical Delivery

• Prepare accurate and error-free detailed drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes using computer-aided design software (AutoCAD) for presentation to clients using in-store room styler
• Finish plans and layouts and specification and BOQ
• Prepare detailed order documents
• Prepare the program for site and home execution; prepare status report on weekly basis

Customer Management & Operations

• Ensure customer commitments are met on time through follow-ups on purchases, orders, deliveries and addressing issues if any

Qualifications & Experience

• Good knowledge in space planning
