Role Overview
Sales Associate at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.
Role Purpose
Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales through product knowledge, visual merchandising, and operational excellence. Perform store maintenance and visual presentation duties as assigned by store management.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
- Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
- Serve customers with the highest standards following the company selling guideline: GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
- Stay updated about the various brands within the group to enable suggestive selling.
Merchandise & Visual Merchandising
- Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and comply with standard layout norms.
- Follow all VM (Visual Merchandising) guidelines and maintain stock norms on clearance items.
- Record inventory inward and outward movements and maintain related reports.
Operations & Point of Sale
- Handle the POS (Point of Sale) and billing counter efficiently.
- Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
- Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention Policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to external parties.
Store Maintenance & Security
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual presentation standards as directed by store management.
- Ensure awareness and vigilance of security at all times without negligence.
- Minimize stock loss through diligent monitoring.
Flexibility & Availability
- Work extended hours during sale periods as required.
- Work varied shifts and overtime as per business requirements.
