Role Overview

Sales Associate at Apparel Group. This position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to store sales through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver outstanding customer service while performing operational duties including store maintenance and visual presentation standards. Drive sales growth and customer loyalty through product knowledge, effective selling techniques, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards following the company GUEST guideline: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank.
• Stay updated on the various brands within the group to enable suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Presentation

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and meet standard layout norms.
• Follow all VM (Visual Merchandising) guidelines and maintain stock norms on clearance items.
• Record inventory inward and outward transactions and maintain associated reports.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through vigilant inventory management.

Point of Sale & Financial Management

• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) and billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.

Store Operations & Security

• Maintain awareness and vigilance of store security at all times without negligence.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Work varied shifts and overtime as per business requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.
