Sales Associate

Role Overview

Sales Associate at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to store sales through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth while maintaining operational excellence, visual standards, and loss prevention protocols within the store environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards following the company selling guideline: GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various brands within the group for suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Presentation

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and according to standard layout norms.
• Follow all visual merchandising guidelines and maintain stock norms on clearance items.
• Record inventory inward and outward movements and maintain related reports.

Operations & Point of Sale

• Handle the Point of Sale (POS) billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Perform store maintenance and visual presentation duties as assigned by store manager or assistant store manager.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure awareness and vigilance of store security at all times without negligence.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through proper product knowledge and procedures.
