Role Overview
Sales Associate at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.
Role Purpose
Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales through product knowledge, visual merchandising, and operational excellence while maintaining brand representation and store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
- Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
- Serve customers with the highest standards following the company selling guideline: GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all group brands for suggestive selling.
Merchandise & Visual Presentation
- Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and according to standard layout norms.
- Follow all VM (Visual Merchandising) guidelines and maintain stock norms on clearance.
- Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports.
- Ensure minimal stock loss.
Point of Sale & Transactions
- Handle the POS (Point of Sale) billing counter efficiently.
- Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
- Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
Store Operations & Loss Prevention
- Perform various operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by store manager or assistant store manager.
- Maintain awareness and vigilance of store security at all times without negligence.
- Adhere to SOP and Loss Prevention Policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.
Scheduling & Flexibility
- Work extended hours during sale periods as required.
- Be flexible to work varied shifts and overtime as per business requirement.
Professional Standards
- Maintain presentable and well-groomed appearance at all times.
