Role Overview
Sales Assistant at IKEA Cairo Festival City, operated by Al Futtaim Group, a leading diversified regional enterprise. Location: Cairo Festival City.
Role Purpose
Drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service by building meaningful connections with customers, maintaining store standards, and providing knowledgeable product assistance aligned with IKEA's values.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Inventory
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas to verify pricing accuracy, product labeling, and promotional materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Shopkeeper and Procurement team to ensure adequate stock availability.
Sales & Customer Service
- Provide knowledgeable product advice and personalized assistance to customers, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities while maintaining IKEA merchandising standards and meeting sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven retail or customer service experience with a track record of meeting sales targets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to understand and respond to diverse customer needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and management across different departments.
- Attention to detail with organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store standards.
