Role Overview
Safety Specialist at Dallah Albaraka. The Safety Specialist is responsible for providing safety services to Dallah staff, property and facilities primarily by inspecting premises, answering emergency requests, providing instructions and guidance to employees across Dallah, and ensuring alignment with safety rules and regulations.
Role Purpose
Protect Dallah's staff, property and facilities through proactive safety inspections, emergency response coordination, employee guidance, and strict adherence to established safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Operations & Compliance
- Implement approved departmental policies and procedures and ensure adherence with implemented processes so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Implement day-to-day operations assigned for Safety to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Monitor safety-related activities and incidents to ensure that required action is taken in compliance with procedures across different premises.
Supervision & Management
- Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Safety unit is carried out in an efficient manner.
Emergency Response & Liaison
- Liaise with fire or ambulance authorities in cases of attendance at emergency incidents and facilitate site entry and exit to ensure expeditious handling of the situation.
Reporting & Investigation
- Develop reports on safety incidents and updates to ensure that management and sections are informed accordingly.
- Investigate and report on incidents to avoid repetition of occurrence and to ensure safety of Dallah's resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma Degree in Safety
- 2–4 years of related experience
