Role Overview
Safety Officer at Saeed Raddad Group. This role develops, implements, and monitors the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system across Sraco FM facility management contracts, ensuring compliance, risk control, and a strong safety culture.
Role Purpose
Lead the creation, execution, and continuous improvement of the Sraco FM HSE framework for all facility management contracts. Ensure alignment with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and ISO 45001 standards while fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Framework & Policy
- Develop, update, and implement HSE policies, procedures, and the HSE management system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall safety performance.
Risk Assessment & Audit
- Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and HSE audits across project sites.
- Prove ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Compliance & Monitoring
- Monitor compliance with Saudi regulations, client HSE requirements, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Review contractor and subcontractor HSE plans, method statements, and ensure alignment with company standards.
Incident Management
- Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and track corrective actions.
Training & Development
- Plan and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training and awareness programs.
Reporting & Performance
- Track HSE key performance indicators and prepare monthly reports for management and clients.
Leadership & Supervision
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to site Safety Officers.
- Team-oriented mindset with the capability to mentor and support site safety personnel.
Emergency Preparedness
- Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
- 2–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Ministry of Human Resources occupational safety regulations and Civil Defense requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards and client HSE specifications.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with the capability to mentor and support site safety personnel.
