Role Overview
Risk Manager at HanmiGlobal Saudi, based in Saudi Arabia. The role leads the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the organization's projects and operations.
Role Purpose
Develop and implement risk management frameworks and processes to minimize potential impacts on the organization's objectives. This position involves close collaboration with project teams, senior management, and stakeholders to ensure proactive risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Framework & Policy
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and tools aligned with company objectives.
Risk Assessment & Analysis
- Identify, assess, and analyze risks related to projects, operations, safety, finance, and compliance.
- Facilitate risk reviews and audits and support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Risk Mitigation & Planning
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor risk indicators and report on risk exposure to senior management.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards regarding risk management.
Organizational Development
- Lead risk workshops and training sessions to raise awareness and embed best practices across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization's risk management maturity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Certification in Risk Management (for example, PMI-RMP, IRM) is an advantage.
