Retail Sales Executive

Role Overview

Retail Sales Executive at Du, based in a retail location in the UAE.

Role Purpose

To drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service by explaining product features and benefits, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring customers receive comprehensive support across all Du services and technical offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Explain product features and benefits to customers through comparative selling.
• Deliver service recommendations and product demonstrations.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Focus on customer needs and deliver results in all customer interactions.

Transaction Management

• Issue payment and receipts for sales and services.
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions and data input.
• Complete sales transactions end-to-end.
• Resolve billing disputes and errors.
• Process bill payments and recharge requests.

Customer Support & Onboarding

• Provide technical usage support in the form of how-to guidance.
• Complete customer and account onboarding processes.
• Facilitate document verification.
• Support account changes, migrations, upgrades, and downgrades.
• Enable self-care registration and assisted self-serve support.

Product & Knowledge Management

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, propositions, and company communications.
• Accurately and fully meet customer needs with current information.
• Demonstrate awareness of and interest in technology mobility within the local area.

Store & Inventory Management

• Ensure the workstation and store are tidy and clean.
• Keep relevant information and brochures/information leaflets properly stacked and accessible.
• Maintain stock and cash assigned without discrepancies.

Relationship Building

• Network and build genuine, productive relationships with customers.
• Influence and persuade customers effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ideally retail experience or customer service role in the telecom industry.
• Good understanding of telecom and data products and services.
• Minimum high school certificate for UAE Nationals; diploma for Expats.

• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook.
