Role Overview
Retail Associate at Miral Destinations, a leader in the management and operation of world-class immersive attractions and experiences across Abu Dhabi. The position is based at one of Miral's iconic destinations.

Role Purpose
To ensure smooth and efficient operation in the retail department by selling branded merchandise, souvenirs, and photo products to guests while maintaining store standards and directly impacting the delivery of the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Sales
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Approach guests and initiate proactive communication.
- Assist and advise guests to make purchases by recommending, describing, and demonstrating products.
- Demonstrate service-enhancing behavior and apply product knowledge when interacting with guests.
- Improve product knowledge on a regular basis.
- Handle basic guest complaints on the spot.
Point of Sale & Transactions
- Efficiently operate computerized cash registers involving barcode scanners, calculators, and credit card machines.
- Collect and process money tendered transactions in different currencies.
- Process vouchers, stored value cards, and credit card payments.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Ensure the store is well stocked and clean.
- Arrange and maintain product displays with approval.
- Stock shelves and refill inventory.
- Ensure all products displayed are properly displayed and labeled according to brand standards.
- Take product inventory and assist in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment.
Promotions & Additional Duties
- Work on promotions and achieve set targets.
- Perform any other tasks required from time to time to meet business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Higher secondary education or equivalent
- Previous retail experience (desirable)
- Previous experience in handling guest complaints (desirable)
- Previous cash handling skills (desirable)
Skills & Competencies
- Moderate to good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of cash handling skills
- Product knowledge and ability to improve it continuously
- Ability to speak additional languages, preferably Arabic, Russian, or Mandarin (desirable)
Additional Information
- Medically able to work in all weather conditions
- Physically able to carry and lift items and climb ladders
- Must be able to operate computerized point-of-sale systems including barcode scanners, calculators, and credit card machines
