Role Purpose

Conduct high-impact research in applied mathematics, contribute to teaching and student supervision, secure external research funding, and engage actively with the university's academic and professional community to strengthen the center's growth and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Publications

• Conduct advanced research in Nonlinear Dynamics, Fractional Calculus, Mathematical Modeling, and Control Theory.
• Publish in high-impact, Scopus-indexed Q1/Q2 journals.
• Participate actively in national and international research conferences.

Teaching & Supervision

• Deliver lectures and workshops in specialized research areas.
• Supervise graduate students' research projects and dissertations.

Grants & Funding

• Develop and submit competitive research grant proposals.
• Secure external research funding to support ongoing research activities.

Service & Engagement

• Organize and coordinate workshops, seminars, and conferences at national and international levels.
• Foster collaborations with industry partners, governmental institutions, and academic research centers.
• Actively contribute to the growth and visibility of Ajman University and the NDRC.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field from an internationally reputable institution.
• Strong publication record in high-impact Scopus-indexed journals with a notable h-index and citation count.
• Proven experience in teaching and research supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Experience in securing and managing external research grants is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficiency in mathematical software: MATLAB, Mathematica, Maple, and LaTeX.
• Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary research projects.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and program development skills.
