Role Purpose

Manage repair disposition and quality control for NOV equipment, lead vendor relationships and repair teams, and optimize repair processes through process improvement and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Repair Disposition & Quality Control

• Issue repair disposition for Machining, Weld, Coating, inlays, Pressure Test, and FATs following all NOV local and global procedures after D&I.
• Issue repair disposition of all NCR raised during repair process and perform RCA.
• Review QC inspection reports.
• Perform PIB checks during repair process of equipment at all stages.

Vendor Management & Technical Support

• Assist vendors with technical support during all repair processes with NOV equipment.
• Identify and develop vendors to repair NOV equipment.
• Support vendors for WPS qualification.
• Assist planning team to provide cost estimation of third party repairs.
• Assist purchase group to identify local source parts.

Team & Operations Leadership

• Lead and assist the Repair Team during SPS and other major jobs.
• Work closely with Shop Supervisors and provide necessary support.
• Assist QC team to develop and review SOW for repair.
• Assist planning team to finalize scope for quotes including BOM.

Process Improvement

• Improve efficiency with development of tools, instruments, and new equipment.
• Identify and develop new vendors for repair process.

Compliance & General Duties

• Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering degree or diploma in related field.
• 3+ years work experience in repair and inspection of drilling equipment.
• Knowledge in drilling equipment repair process.

Skills & Competencies

• Read mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics proficiently.
• Computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge in ERP and Tracker systems.
• Basic knowledge in cost estimation.
