Relationship Banker- Loan DST

Role Overview

Relationship Banker - Loan DST at Mashreq. The role is based in the DST (Dubai, Sharjah, or other emirates location as assigned).

Role Purpose

Sell the entire range of personal banking products to potential retail prospects and maintain strong relationships with existing clients of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Prospecting

• Achieve monthly sales targets in the financial year.
• Prospect in targeted segments that require meeting standards in phone calls and face-to-face visits.
• Present and sell all personal banking products and services to potential customers in an ethical, structured, and professional manner.
• Handle objections with a view to getting the customer to buy or company to transfer payroll.

Relationship Management

• Serve as relationship manager (where required) for a portfolio of approved companies by developing key contacts and relationships.

Marketing & Activation

• Conduct micro marketing activities that include kiosk activities and other direct marketing activities.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure strict compliance with the Bank's policy with regards to product, customer KYC, FATCA, AML CTF, and third-party channel interactions.
• Ensure the highest ethics, standards, and integrity are followed and immediately escalate any suspected or actual breaches to Senior Management and Governance as may be required.

Operations & Reporting

• Ensure End-to-End customer TAT is met for all applications submitted with quality adherence as per target guidelines.
• Record all sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM for leads and contacts.

Team & Development

• Participate in all team activities like morning huddles, training and coaching, complete mandatory compliance and fraud trainings, and Lean and rewards celebrations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate from any discipline.
• 2 years banking sales experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Confidence, persistence, personality, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of products, service policies, and processes of Retail Banking.
