Role Overview

Registered Nurse - Male (Open for All Nationalities) at Ajman University, based on campus.

Role Purpose

Provide high-standard medical services to the Ajman University community as a MOH-certified Health Care Provider, delivering emergency response, routine clinical care, and health screening across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

Emergency & Clinical Care

• Deliver prompt response and care to any emergency across the campus.
• Execute nursing work, including receiving patients, identifying their needs, and checking patients' parameters (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, etc.).
• Provide psychological support with empathy to patients in distress seeking medical clinic support.

Health Screening

• Screen all fitness certificates submitted by AU new applicants.
• Screen all PCR tests submitted by AU Community (staff and students).
• Screen all vaccine cards submitted by AU Community.

Clinic Operations

• Respond to enquiries and calls received in the clinic.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of three years of post-qualification work as a professional registered nurse.
• MOH license.
• BLS holder.
• IOSH certificate.

Additional Information

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations requiring extensive safety precautions and may include use of protective equipment.
• May be required to submit to annual TB and rubella screening.
• Reports to: Medical Services Manager.
