Role Overview
Regional Construction Practice – Graduate at Marsh McLennan, located in the DIFC, supporting the IMEA region.

Role Purpose
To support client servicing, broking, and business development activities within the Regional Construction Practice while developing expertise in construction risk and building relationships with clients and markets across the IMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Portfolio Management
- Assist with client portfolio management and day-to-day servicing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision makers
- Support the VP and SVP across portfolio management and client servicing
- Help maintain strong client relationships and support new business efforts
Client Deliverables & Documentation
- Support the preparation of client deliverables, including briefing notes, placement documents, coverage summaries, and RFP responses
- Deliver accurate, high-quality documentation and client materials
- Support timely and accurate processing of invoices, premium calculations, policy documentation, certificates, and related records
Business Development & Presentations
- Contribute to client and prospect presentations and attend meetings to support business development
- Communicate effectively with clients, reinsurers, and colleagues
Reinsurance Placement & Negotiation
- Assist in the design and placement of reinsurance programs for large and complex construction projects
- Help gather, review, and compare reinsurance terms and coverage options
- Liaise with reinsurers to negotiate terms and secure appropriate solutions for clients
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes
- Continue developing your technical knowledge and professional expertise
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Work collaboratively as part of a regional and global team
- Contribute to broking and placement activities with attention to detail and professionalism
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
Qualifications & Experience
- Fresh graduate or recent graduate
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Management, or a relevant field
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
- High levels of organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest or experience in construction, infrastructure, or complex risk environments
- Exposure to insurance, reinsurance, broking, or client servicing
- Ability to work across diverse teams and regional markets
- Proactive mindset and commitment to delivering best-in-class client service
Additional Information
- Willingness to travel across the region when required
- Hybrid work model: all colleagues expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week; office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which the full team will be together in person
