Silvus StreamCaster™ radios are rapidly adopted by customers ranging from U.S. and Allied Nations Departments of Defense to International, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies, entertainment events, and industry-leading drone, robot, and unmanned systems manufacturers.
Role Purpose
To accelerate account growth and strategic commercial opportunities within the Middle East & Africa territory by supporting the full sales lifecycle, building regional channel networks, gathering market intelligence, and serving as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales & Channel Support
- Support the full sales lifecycle across assigned regional accounts, moving opportunities from qualification to proposal development and contract closing.
- Observe regional partner performance, supporting existing channel networks and identifying prospective channel partner candidates.
- Assist regional partners with product enablement, ensuring demonstration equipment and tools remain functional and fully operational.
Market Strategy & Analytical Intelligence
- Analyze regional market conditions, procurement timelines, and local trend data to assist leadership with accurate demand forecasting.
- Gather regional intelligence regarding customer needs and competitive positioning to help shape corporate strategic planning.
- Visualize and communicate gathered data to regional and broader sales leadership in a tech-enabled manner, such as tailored dashboards and AI-supported reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Representation
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to share customer feedback and ensure appropriate reflection in development and production.
- Represent the company at regional trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry events to increase market engagement.
- Coordinate executive and technical visits throughout the assigned territory, acting as a primary regional point of contact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of secondary school or post-secondary education in business, engineering, or communications.
- Professional experience in sales, account management, or business development within tactical communications, wireless technology, or defense sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Prior background in military service, defense procurement, or public safety operations (preferred).
- Experience with program management in high-performance commercial environments (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Tactical Communications: demonstrate knowledge of MANET ecosystems, RF networking, and wireless network integration.
- Market Intelligence: analyze regional procurement cycles, public safety funding structures, and defense acquisition processes.
- Language Skills: deliver business presentations and maintain professional communication in English and regional languages.
- Ownership: support sales opportunities creation independently and build long-term relationships with strategic customer stakeholders.
- Partner Enablement: assist distributor and reseller networks with initial vetting and technical product knowledge.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: bridge end-user operational requirements with internal engineering and product roadmaps.

Position Details
- Position Type: Experienced individual contributor with clear pathway for career advancement.
- Remote-based with travel up to 50% to customer meetings, trade shows, corporate events, and demonstrations.
- Work performed in office settings, field demonstration locations, and trade show venues.

Physical Requirements
- Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for setup of demonstrations and testing.
- Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing field tests or demonstrations.
