Role Overview
Recreation Supervisor at Hilton, Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel's recreational facilities and lead the recreation team in delivering high-quality guest experiences.
Role Purpose
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's recreational facilities, including pools, fitness centers, sports areas, and children's activities. Design and implement engaging recreational programs, promote wellness initiatives, ensure guest safety, and deliver memorable experiences that define exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Recreation Operations
- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day recreation services, including guest experience, food and beverage offerings, marketing, merchandising, reservations, systems, budgeting, and reporting.
- Supervise all recreation facilities and services to maintain operational excellence.
Programs & Activities
- Lead engaging programs and activities by overseeing the coordination and promotion of all recreation offerings.
- Coordinate and execute pool and water activities, tennis tournaments, children's programs, and special events.
- Design and implement engaging recreational programs for diverse guest groups.
Guest Service Delivery
- Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction trends.
- Address guest concerns proactively and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Promote wellness initiatives and leisure offerings.
Team Leadership & Development
- Train, supervise, and mentor team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Recognize achievements to build an engaged and high-performing team.
- Inspire others through leadership and foster teamwork.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in recreation management, hospitality, or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and execute recreational activities for diverse guest groups.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong understanding of wellness and leisure trends.
- Passion for guest service and recreation.
