Role Purpose

Provide warm, engaging and authentically local personalized service to all guests who utilize the recreation and wellness facilities, ensuring exceptional experiences through detailed attention to cleanliness, setup, ambiance and guest engagement in a luxury, upscale and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Engagement

• Actively engage with guests and assist with all guest needs.
• Issue towels and chaise lounge covers.
• Assist in chaise lounge setup and cabana setup.
• Provide unique experiences to all guests through warm, personal and detailed service.

Facility Maintenance & Setup

• Pick up and remove used towels and debris from pool deck areas throughout the day.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the pool through detailed cleanliness, setup and ambiance control.
• Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned.
• Set the pool according to standards and procedures.

Knowledge & Sales

• Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services and features.
• Upsell and promote wellness and recreation offers at every available opportunity to maximize sales revenue.

Safety & Standards

• Be well versed in hotel fire and life safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

General Duties

• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.
• Be available to carry out any assignment as delegated by department manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least one year's experience as a recreation attendant.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
