Role Overview
Receptionist position with Wood PLC, UAE Business Unit, based in Sharjah, UAE. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting one of the world's largest multinational engineering companies.
Company Overview
Wood is a global engineering company delivering solutions on critical projects worldwide. The UAE Business Unit has been awarded a general engineering contract to support an International Client operator on a portfolio of onshore capital projects through engineering, project management services, EPC contract management, Supply Chain, Construction, and Commissioning support from Wood Iraq and UAE offices. Projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects integrating low-carbon solutions to support client energy transition and emissions reduction goals.
Role Purpose
To provide reception support for Wood's UAE Business Unit while contributing to meaningful, high-profile client projects and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, complex project environment with world-class industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Project Support
- Gain hands-on experience and make an impact from day one supporting engineering and project management operations.
- Work with world-class industry experts on complex projects delivered to high-profile clients.
- Support delivery of varied project types including Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate (Grade 12) or any bachelor's degree.
- 0–12 months of experience.
