Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor at MIRA Construction. The position is based in the UAE.
Role Purpose
To provide detailed cost management and financial control across construction projects by preparing accurate estimates, monitoring budgets, managing variations and claims, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Analyze project costs and monitor budgets throughout project execution.
Documentation & Procurement
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare tender documentation and assist in the procurement process.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Measure completed work.
Variations & Claims Management
- Assess and manage project variations, change orders, and claims.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective cost control.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and local regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project budgeting.
- Experience preparing BOQs, tender documentation, and cost reports.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
