Role Purpose
The Quantity Surveyor ensures effective cost control, contract compliance, and financial management throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from interim payments and measurements through claims resolution and contractor invoice evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Control & Reporting
- Prepare interim payment applications, measurement sheets, and cost reports.
- Monitor project cost performance and report deviations.
Contract Management
- Review contract documents and ensure compliance with cost parameters.
- Evaluate contractor invoices and support contract administration.
- Assist in claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
Measurement & Documentation
- Measure completed work and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for changes or additional works.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years' Quantity Surveyor experience, preferably on road/highway projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and contract management.
- Proficiency in cost-control tools.
- Excellent analytical skills.
