Quality Controller

Role Overview

Quality Controller at Galadari Brothers. This is a workshop-based quality assurance position responsible for maintaining standardized quality control processes and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous inspection and coordination.

Role Purpose

Ensure a standardized quality control process is followed within the Workshop. Perform quality checks on all completed repairs on customer vehicles, including road tests, to ensure the highest quality standard and 100% completion of customer requested work.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspections & Testing

• Perform quality checks on all completed repairs on customer vehicles including road test to ensure the highest quality standard and ensure 100% completion of customer requested work.
• Conduct, record and report results of quality control inspections.
• Ensure vehicle cleaning is completed before delivery.

Repair Order Management

• Assign and dispatch repair orders to the most appropriately skilled technician based on priority and completion time.
• Distribute repair orders with expected job completion time.
• Monitor the reasons for and the progress of each job stoppage.

Quality Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor, record and identify the causes of vehicle carryovers.
• Monitor and record the causes of repeat repairs.
• Do the job right the first time.

Stakeholder Communication

• Keep Service Advisors constantly informed of delays and additional work found.
• Assist Service Advisors with repair explanation when required.

Technical Support

• Assist Technicians with diagnosis of difficult repairs.

Ad Hoc Duties

• Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Engineering or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical.
• 2–3 years experience as quality controller within a reputable automotive dealership or reputed workshop.

Skills & Competencies

• Sound technical knowledge.
• Ability to understand customer needs and requirements.
