Role Overview
Quality Controller at Ali & Sons Holding LLC. This role is responsible for ensuring that every vehicle meets the required quality and safety standards before leaving the Bodyshop.

Role Purpose
The Quality Controller ensures comprehensive quality assurance across all vehicle repairs and inspections within the Bodyshop, conducting daily quality checks, final inspections, and road tests to verify that vehicles meet required standards before release. This role maintains accountability for the overall quality of vehicles leaving the Bodyshop premises and communicates quality concerns promptly to relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Inspections & Monitoring
- Conduct daily quality checks on all vehicles and report findings to the Body Shop Manager and Foreman.
- Monitor vehicle progress throughout the paint process through regular inspections.
- Perform comprehensive final inspections to ensure vehicles meet required quality standards before release.
Vehicle Cleanliness & Appearance
- Check vehicle cleanliness, ensuring there are no polish marks, dirt, stains, or other visible defects.
- Identify paint defects and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Component & Body Alignment
- Inspect body panel alignment, including bumpers, fenders, bonnet, headlights, and other exterior components.
- Ensure quality control is completed across Mechanical, Electrical, Body, and Paint areas.
Diagnostics & Fault Management
- Ensure all relevant fault codes are properly diagnosed and cleared by the respective brand sections, including VW, Audi, Porsche, and SKODA.
Testing & Verification
- Conduct road tests and vehicle testing as required to verify that repairs have been completed correctly.
- Ensure all required repairs and related jobs have been completed before vehicle handover.
Documentation & Handover
- Ensure proper documentation and signatures when vehicles are transferred between sections or handed over to Service Advisors.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality findings.
Reporting & Communication
- Report any faults or quality concerns immediately to the Foreman and Service Advisor.
- Communicate any outstanding issues or observations promptly to the relevant team members.
General Duties
- Maintain accountability for the overall quality of vehicles leaving the Bodyshop premises.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Body Shop Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a reputed automotive workshop or Bodyshop.
- Strong experience in automotive body repair, paint inspection, and vehicle quality control.
- Good understanding of vehicle body alignment, paint defects, mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Experience in conducting final vehicle inspections and road testing.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
