Quality Control Inspector

Role Overview

Quality Control Inspector at Masimo, a Danaher operating company, located in Riyadh. This is an on-site position reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality.

Role Purpose

The Quality Control Inspector ensures product quality at all process levels—incoming, in-process, and outgoing—by inspecting materials and products to verify compliance with company documents, procedures, and acceptance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Testing

• Perform Receiving, In-Process, and Final inspections of product per acceptance procedure (AP) documents.
• Perform functional testing per acceptance procedure (AP) and drawing (DR) requirements.
• Generate and complete Quality Reports in accordance with released acceptance procedures, drawings, bill of materials (BOM), assembly master records (AMR), and device master records (DMR) requirements.

Compliance & Documentation

• Review work and job orders for compliance to internal documentation including assembly master records (AMR), device master records (DMR), drawings (DR), and bill of materials (BOM).
• Keep up to date with document revision changes as they affect inspections.
• Maintain working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and document management.

Quality Control Actions

• Identify, segregate, and generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for nonconforming products and materials.
• Release and approve product labels.

Material Management

• Move material to designated locations in support of inspections, Material Review Board (MRB), Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and Inventory processes.
• Perform physical movement of material in warehouse and quality control areas.
• Operate pallet jacks, pack and unpack material, palletize material, and lift material as needed.
• Verify material quantities and documents.

Qualifications & Experience

• PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Knowledge of document management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: Prior experience with quality control systems.
• Preferred: Expertise in Bill of Material management.
• Preferred: One year of experience within the Medical Device industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision.
