Role Overview
Quality Control Inspector at NOV. The role supports daily quality inspection and reporting activities to ensure materials and equipment meet required drawings, specifications, and quality standards while maintaining proper inspection records and traceability.

Role Purpose
To perform daily quality inspection and reporting activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, support NDT activities, manage calibration control and NCR reporting, and maintain compliance with company QMS, HSE, Saudi Aramco, and applicable industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing
- Perform timely incoming inspection of materials, steel structures, capital equipment, and mechanical parts.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection in accordance with Router, Job Card, Drawing, and Specifications.
- Perform timely quality inspection in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Quality Procedures, Router, drawings, and quality instructions in the shops.
- Perform inspection, testing, and quality operations including NDT of oil and gas equipment to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications, and quality processes and procedures.
NDT Activities
- Perform NDT including MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), LPI (Liquid Penetrant Inspection), and other visual methods.
- Prepare NDT reports and maintain record keeping.
- Monitor third-party NDT activities and review reports.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Review and approve supplier inspection reports.
- Upload all documents in DMS (Rig Docs) in relevant cases.
- Prepare and review Final Data Book.
- Register NCR (Non-Conformance Report), CAR (Corrective Action Request), and PAR (Preventive Action Request) entries into System.
Calibration & Compliance
- Monitor and maintain measurement instrument and equipment calibration up to date.
- Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures and policies.
- Maintain working knowledge of government, Saudi Aramco, and industrial quality codes and standards.
Support & Collaboration
- Support workshop foreman in monitoring, identification, and traceability processes.
- Assist QC Manager/Supervisor in day-to-day QC activities.
- Participate in Internal and External audits.
- Perform work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma (4 years regular) from a recognized university or technology institute in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- ASNT Level II valid Certification for MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) and LPI (Liquid Penetrant Inspection) is required.
- ASNT Level II valid Certification for RT (Radiography Testing) and UT (Ultrasonic Testing) is preferred.
- CSWIP (Certification Scheme for Welding Inspectors and Personnel) and BGAS certification is a plus.
