Role Overview
QC Supervisor - Piping at Samsung E&A, located in Fadhili, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Plan and control quality activities in piping discipline in accordance with the quality management system established by the QC Manager. Manage inspectors and conduct inspections and tests while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards and work processes.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning & Documentation
- Prepare Quality Procedure and Inspection Test Plan.
- Establish process and system to utilize FMCS and SCMS enabling systematic quality control.
- Conduct training for operating FMCS and SCMS.
Quality Performance Management
- Manage work performance on particular discipline as per applicable work process.
- Manage actual result of Quality Performance Indicator.
- Monitor and coordinate with other disciplines to provide corrective action.
- Investigate and analyze quality issues based on related international codes and standards to suggest resolution.
Inspection & Testing Execution
- Plan, control and perform inspections and tests on discipline.
- Manage pressure test package and ensure familiarity with P&ID.
- Conduct RTR Inspection techniques.
- Manage piping data log related to piping project work.
- Conduct Pre-Inspection activities.
- Manage ITP Study.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise and solve with clients on Quality related matters such as Quality Issue, NCR and Observation.
- Manage RFI Management and Punch Clear Management.
Team & System Management
- Manage inspectors in the disciplines for which they are responsible.
- Manage work activity through system management tool (FMCS, SCMS).
- Manage Sub-contractor QAQC activities.
- Implement Punch Clear activities.
Project Lifecycle Management
- Support Plant Start-Up, Operation, Maintenance and Final Handover activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree and a total of seven (7) years of experience in inspection; OR high school diploma with a total of ten (10) years of experience in inspection.
- Minimum three (3) years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in Contract Scope of Work (e.g. oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication).
- Demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes: ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME, API 570, AWS D1.1.
- Thorough knowledge and proven ability in RTR Inspection techniques.
- Ability to manage pressure test package and piping data log related to piping project work.
- Familiarity with P&ID documentation.
- Aramco Experience required.
