Role Overview
QC Supervisor at Samsung E&A. This role oversees quality control activities within assigned disciplines across the organization's engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations projects.

Role Purpose
Plan and control quality activities within assigned disciplines according to the quality management system established by the QC Manager, performing and directing inspections and tests while managing inspectors within their area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning & Procedures
- Prepare Quality Procedures and Inspection Test Plans.
- Establish processes and systems to utilize FMCS and SCMS enabling systematic quality control.
- Conduct training for operation of quality management systems.
Quality Execution & Monitoring
- Manage work performance on particular discipline as per applicable work process.
- Plan, control and perform inspections and tests on assigned discipline.
- Manage actual results of Quality Performance Indicators.
- Execute Quality Audits and QC execution activities.
Issue Management & Coordination
- Coordinate and monitor with other disciplines to provide corrective action.
- Liaise and solve with clients on Quality related matters such as Quality Issues, NCRs and Observations.
- Investigate and analyze quality issues based on related international codes and standards to suggest resolutions.
- Manage RFI and Punch Clear activities.
System & Team Management
- Manage work activity through system management tools (FMCS, SCMS).
- Manage inspectors in disciplines for which responsible.
- Manage Subcontractor QAQC activities.
Project Lifecycle Support
- Conduct ITP Study activities.
- Support Pre-Inspection and prevention and solving of inconsistencies.
- Support Plant Start-Up, Operation and Maintenance phases.
- Manage Final Hand-over activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical knowledge in particular discipline and familiarity with related international codes and standards.
- Quality Management and QA/QC Planning.
- Quality Audit and QC Execution.
- Communication and Quality Training.
- Client Management.
- Subcontractor Management (QAQC).
