Role Purpose

To ensure compliance of coating and painting works with project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards through comprehensive inspection, verification, and testing oversight on site.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Review and Planning

• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing requirements related to coating and painting works.
• Prepare and review concrete specifications, mix designs, and ITPs.

On-Site Inspection and Verification

• Perform verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works to assure compliance with established procedures and project-specified requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of coating and painting materials.

Testing and Standards Compliance

• Apply knowledge of coating and painting testing standards for onshore and offshore construction in Oil & Gas environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized or reputed university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2 certification.
• Familiarity with Shell DEPs and international codes and standards.
• Previous experience working on ADNOC projects is preferred.

• Fluency in English.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently, exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
