Role Purpose

To ensure quality compliance and engineering standards for all coating and painting works on assigned projects by conducting inspections, verifying workmanship, testing materials, and confirming adherence to project specifications and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Review & Specification

• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to Coating & Painting works.
• Prepare and review concrete specification, mix design and ITPs.

Inspection & Verification

• Perform verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works to assure compliance with established procedures and Project's specified requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of Coating & Painting materials.

Standards & Testing

• Apply Coating & Painting Testing Standards for Onshore & Offshore Construction in Oil & Gas inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized or reputed university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2 certification.
• Familiarity with Shell DEP's and international codes & standards.
• Previous experience working with ADNOC projects is preferred.

• Fluency in English.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
