QC Inspector (Painting / Coating)

Role Overview

QC Inspector (Painting / Coating) with Archirodon Group N.V, a major international EPC contractor. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Purpose

To ensure quality compliance and engineering standards for coating and painting works on complex EPC projects by conducting comprehensive inspections, verifying material specifications, reviewing technical documentation, and certifying that all work meets project requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Review & Specification

• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to Coating & Painting works.
• Prepare and review concrete specifications, mix design and ITPs.

Inspection & Verification

• Perform verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works to assure compliance with established procedures and Project's specified requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of Coating & Painting materials.
• Conduct Coating & Painting testing per recognized standards for Onshore & Offshore Construction in the Oil & Gas industry.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized or reputed university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2 certification.
• Familiarity with Shell DEPs and international codes and standards.
• Previous experience working with ADNOC projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluency in English.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
