Role Overview

QC Inspector at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Test, inspect, and benchmark machine and process parameters across QC labs using simple to complex equipment. Uncover and address deviations from required specifications and standard limits. Drive engineering and manufacturing process improvements to meet specifications and standards while ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing

• Test, inspect, or benchmark predefined machine and process parameters in different QC labs using simple to complex lab equipment against performance and standard limits according to engineering and procedural standards.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress, and finished products using simple to complex lab equipment against performance and standard limits and according to engineering and procedural standards.
• Uncover and address deviations from required specifications and standard limits.
• Use data to drive engineering and manufacturing process improvements.
• Identify and set Key Performance Indicators for measuring and controlling the Quality Control process to ensure production of products with the highest level of quality.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct or guide Root Cause Analyses on quality incidents or non-conforming products.
• Suggest preventive and corrective actions based on RCA findings.

Technical Knowledge & Maintenance

• Demonstrate knowledge of the different types of technical maintenance and how they are performed at Napco.
• Autonomously apply condition monitoring and basic preventive maintenance techniques.

Compliance & Safety

• Apply local, regional, and international occupational health and safety policies, regulations, and standards and procedures set forth by Napco.
• Understand and interpret legal requirements, regulations, and internal procedures to protect humans, property, and prevent market losses.

Communication & Planning

• Communicate and deliver information in a business context both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.
• Organize and plan work and project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet short and long-term objectives.
• Use own understanding of NFP business environment and objectives with the ability to interpret and apply internal policies and procedures.

Systems & Equipment

• Understand and effectively use standard equipment and office automation systems and software.
