QC INSPECTOR

Role Overview

QC Inspector at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Conduct quality control inspections across production stages, from raw material and first piece approval through to finished goods shipping, ensuring all materials and products meet conformance standards and holding production when non-conformities are identified.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production & Start-Up

• Check Job Jacket Traveler (JFT) before stating production.
• Check Raw Material (RM) before starting production.
• Approve First Piece Production of the job order.
• Perform QC production start-up inspection.
• Collect appropriate samples upon each new order printing/production for job jacket preparation.

Production Monitoring

• Perform production online inspection.
• Hold production on any machine for non-conforming product.
• Notify Shift Supervisor and machine crew about non-conforming products.

Material Management & Disposition

• Separate nonconforming material with HOLD tags.
• Release conforming materials with QC PASSED tag.
• Check that HOLD materials are scrapped according to QA unit head recommendation and Operations approval.

Reporting & Communication

• Report daily inspection sheets to Unit Head.
• Directly report non-conformance to Unit Head and follow up on corrective actions.
• Hand over the shift through the logbook to next shift.

Shipping & Final Inspection

• Conduct Finished Goods (FG) shipping inspection upon each shipping loading.
• Give clearance upon conformance.

Additional Information

• Direct reporting line to Unit Head.
