QC INSPECTOR

Role Overview

QC Inspector at Napco National. This is a quality control position responsible for inspecting materials, production processes, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Role Purpose

Ensure all raw materials, production processes, and finished goods meet quality specifications through systematic inspection, documentation, and non-conformance management. Maintain product integrity from production start-up through shipping.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production & Setup

• Check Job Jacket File (JFT) before stating production.
• Check raw materials (RM) before starting production.
• Approve First Piece Production of the job order.
• Perform QC production start-up inspection.
• Collect appropriate samples upon each new order printing/production for job jacket preparation.

Production Monitoring

• Perform production online inspection.
• Hold production on any machine for non-conforming product.
• Notify Shift Supervisor and machine crew about non-conforming products.

Non-Conformance Management

• Separate non-conforming material with HOLD tags and release conforming materials with QC PASSED tag.
• Check that HOLD materials are scrapped according to QA unit head recommendation and OP approval.
• Directly report non-conformance to Unit head and follow up on corrective actions.

Reporting & Handover

• Report daily inspection sheets to Unit head.
• Hand over the shift through the logbook to next shift.

Shipping & Final Release

• Conduct finished goods shipping inspection upon each shipping loading.
• Give clearance upon conformance.
