Role Overview
QC Inspector - Civil and Building with Samsung E&A, a specialized EPC company providing comprehensive solutions across the plant industry, including Oil and Gas processing, Refinery, Petrochemical, Energy Transition, Environmental, Industrial and BIO sectors.

Role Purpose
Plan, control and perform quality inspections and tests within assigned civil and building disciplines in accordance with the established quality management system. Manage quality performance, coordinate corrective actions across disciplines, and resolve quality-related matters with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning and Procedures
- Prepare Quality Procedures and Inspection Test Plans.
- Establish processes and systems to utilize FMCS and SCMS for systematic quality control.
- Conduct training on FMCS and SCMS operation.
- Establish quality systems and implement for small scale projects below 0.5 billion dollars.
Quality Monitoring and Control
- Manage work performance in the assigned discipline according to applicable work processes.
- Plan, control and perform inspections and tests on the assigned discipline.
- Monitor and manage actual results of Quality Performance Indicators.
- Manage work activities through system management tools (FMCS, SCMS).
- Conduct Quality Audits and QC Execution.
Inspection and Testing Specialties
- Execute ITP Studies.
- Perform Pre-Inspection activities.
- Manage RFI processes.
- Execute and implement Punch Clear management and implementation.
- Support Plant Start-Up, Operation, Maintenance and Final Hand-over activities.
Quality Issue Resolution
- Investigate and analyze quality issues based on related international codes and standards.
- Suggest resolutions to identified quality issues.
- Coordinate and monitor with other disciplines to provide corrective action.
- Prevent and solve inconsistencies.
- Liaise and resolve with clients on Quality-related matters including Quality Issues, NCRs and Observations.
Team and Contractor Management
- Manage inspectors in the disciplines for which the role is responsible.
- Manage Sub-contractor Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree with a total of seven (7) years of experience in inspection, or high school diploma with a total of ten (10) years of experience in inspection.
- Minimum three (3) years directly supervising construction activities in contract scope of work, such as oil, gas, petrochemical projects, infrastructure or communications.
- Aramco experience is required.
- SAP No. and CBT certification desired.
Skills & Competencies
- Thorough working knowledge of recognized building codes such as the International Building Code (IBC) or equivalent standards.
- Thorough knowledge and proven ability in construction techniques with emphasis on soil mechanics, foundations, retaining walls, structural steel, masonry, building interiors, building finishes, roof systems and asphalt.
