Role Overview
QC Inspector - Batch Plant with Samsung E&A, a specialized EPC company providing comprehensive solutions across the plant industry, located at the batch plant operations site.

Role Purpose
Monitor, control and inspect civil discipline activities across batch plant operations, including LBE, MOM, INCR and overall civil activities. Ensure compliance with project requirements and international codes through systematic inspection processes, documentation review and nonconformity management.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection Management
- Manage and perform inspection of civil discipline.
- Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.
- Perform and coordinate inspection with client.
- Set and apply practical inspection process of particular discipline based on project requirements and international codes.
Documentation & Procedure Review
- Prepare and review Quality procedure documents submitted by subcontractors including Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Material Approval Request (MAR).
- Prepare, review and approve related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded.
- Review and justify inspection requests and technical reports.
Monitoring & Control
- Control inspection status using systematic tools such as inspection matrix.
- Monitor overall civil activities including Infrastructure & Roads, Flyover Bridge & Tunnel, Asphalt and Concrete work, Underground Utilities, Storm water & Sewerage Network, Piling (Bored Pile & Stone Column), Concrete Coating, Earth works, Tank and Mechanical Foundations, Substation & Control Building, Material Testing Laboratory (Soil, Asphalt, Concrete).
- Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and support preparation of Corrective Action Plan.
Nonconformity & Problem Solving
- Investigate and analyze nonconformities and observations to determine solutions.
- Manage prevention and solving of inconsistency.
- Manage Punch Clear Management and Punch Clear Implementation.
Technical Execution
- Perform ITP Study.
- Conduct Pre-Inspection activities.
- Support Plant Start-Up, Operation, Maintenance and Final Handover phases.
- Verify that suitable and appropriate inspection and test tools are used.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School graduate or higher.
- Overall 5 years of experience with 3 years in Inspection specialty.
- Ability to perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.

- Technical knowledge and familiarity with related international codes and standards in particular discipline.
