Role Overview
QA/QC Inspector with NMDC Group, responsible for quality control inspections across allocated project sections under execution.
Role Purpose
Deliver quality control inspections, identify and report nonconformities, follow up on remedial actions, and sign off completed work components to ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
- Identify and report nonconformities in allocated project sections.
- Follow up with field inspection teams to ensure timely resolution of nonconformities and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Review and follow up on non-conformance identified during inspections.
- Monitor inspection activities to ensure daily work activities are carried out within project timeframes and according to set standards.
- Sign off completed components of work.
Planning & Procedures
- Assist in preparing project-specific plans and procedures for review and approval by senior colleagues in line with project quality requirements.
- Ensure that only project quality procedures and applicable standards and specifications are available at the job location.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with field inspection and construction teams to ensure project quality control systems and plans are applied.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure collation and logging of daily QC data on QA/QC dashboard.
- Ensure proper documentation of QC inspection activities is progressively produced and compiled to always reflect inspection and test status.
Technical Development
- Perform specific assigned tasks by lead discipline engineers in development of welding and NDT procedures.
Compliance
- Comply with HSE policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Civil) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role and industry.
- Experience in civil works is required.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor) is preferred.

- Quality control inspection and nonconformity management.
- Knowledge of applicable standards and specifications.
- Welding and NDT procedure development.
- Project quality systems and documentation.
- Inspection and test status tracking.
