Role Purpose

The QA/QC Engineer ensures the highest quality standards are maintained throughout all construction projects. This role is vital to upholding the company's reputation for excellence and ensuring projects are completed successfully, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning & Documentation

• Develop, implement, and continually refine QA/QC plans for construction projects, incorporating thorough inspection and testing protocols.
• Scrutinize construction documentation, blueprints, and specifications to proactively identify and resolve potential quality challenges.
• Maintain meticulous records of all QA/QC activities and generate comprehensive reports as needed.

On-Site Inspections & Testing

• Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with established quality standards and project specifications.
• Execute inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components, and systems.
• Ensure that all construction materials and equipment meet the requisite quality standards and certifications.

Issue Resolution & Technical Support

• Collaborate with project teams to promptly address quality-related issues and offer technical expertise.
• Work closely with construction teams to enforce quality control processes, address any quality issues promptly, and provide guidance on maintaining quality standards.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Regularly report on QA/QC progress to project stakeholders and provide insights to improve processes.
• Engage with clients to communicate QA/QC progress, address their quality-related concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Interact with regulatory bodies to guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Audits & Continuous Improvement

• Engage in both internal and external quality audits and assessments.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and regulations pertinent to quality assurance and control.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Organize and deliver training sessions to educate construction teams on QA/QC best practices.

Key Interaction & Communication

• Collaborate with Project Managers to create and execute comprehensive QA/QC plans tailored to each project's unique requirements.
• Work with Construction Teams on quality control enforcement and standards guidance.
• Engage with Clients on quality progress communication and concern resolution.
• Interact with Regulatory Authorities on industry standards and regulatory compliance.
