Role Overview
Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor at Hilton Hotels. This role supports the procurement and inventory management process while delivering memorable hospitality experiences for guests.
Role Purpose
Oversee purchasing and receiving operations to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure efficient inventory management. Lead the purchasing and receiving team to support operational needs across the hotel while upholding Hilton's hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Inventory Management
- Support purchasing and receiving operations to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure efficient stock management.
- Assist with supplier management by helping to secure competitive pricing, place orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and outlet managers to ensure purchases meet operational needs and specifications.
Quality Assurance & Invoice Processing
- Perform quality checks by inspecting shipments to verify they meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards.
- Process invoices by reviewing them for accuracy and following up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment and issue resolution.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and develop the purchasing and receiving team by training, scheduling, and supervising purchasing and receiving clerks.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and accountability among team members.
