Purchasing & Logistics Officer

Role Overview

Purchasing & Logistics Officer at Segadty. This is a hands-on operational role managing the full product cycle from supplier to warehouse and branches, including procurement, shipping, customs clearance, inventory entry, and distribution. Daily follow-up with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams is required.

Role Purpose

Manage end-to-end procurement and logistics operations, ensuring timely sourcing, shipping, customs clearance, and accurate inventory control across warehouses and branch locations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Source products and communicate with suppliers and factories.
• Request quotations, negotiate prices, and create Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up on production and order readiness.

Shipping & Customs Operations

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
• Handle customs clearance processes with brokers.
• Ensure all shipping documents are complete (Invoice, Packing List, HS Code).
• Track shipments until arrival and resolve delays.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Receive goods and ensure quantity and quality accuracy.
• Perform GRPO and product coding (SKU creation) in the system.
• Monitor warehouse and branch inventory levels.
• Replenish branches based on demand and stock levels.

Inventory Analysis & Planning

• Analyze stock movement (Fast / Slow / Dead Stock).
• Support reorder planning based on sales data.
• Monitor Days of Inventory and stock coverage.
• Raise alerts for low stock or overstock situations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain.
• Basic knowledge in procurement, logistics, and supply chain.

Skills & Competencies

• Good Excel skills (filters, basic formulas; pivot tables are a plus).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong follow-up and execution skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Salary: SAR 3,000 – 4,500 (based on experience).
• Preferred nationalities: Pakistan, India, Philippines, Sudan.
