Role Overview
Proposals Manager at NMDC Group. This role is responsible for managing the complete tender and proposal lifecycle, from analysis through team coordination to strategy and risk management.
Role Purpose
To lead the tender process end-to-end, ensuring all technical, contractual, schedule, cost and design requirements are captured, analyzed, and communicated effectively. The role drives bid strategy, identifies risks and opportunities, coordinates cross-functional teams, and fosters a collaborative, result-oriented culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Analysis & Planning
- Analyze tender files and define activities required to finalize the tender.
- Distribute tender activities across the team.
- Monitor completeness of tender response.
Risk & Opportunity Management
- Identify tender-associated risks and opportunities.
- Determine and implement mitigation actions.
Bid Strategy & Estimation
- Advise the tender team on bid strategy in consultation with the Sr. Estimation Manager and Commercial Director.
- Ensure all technical, contractual, schedule, cost estimation and design engineering input needed to meet tender requirements are collected.
- Communicate these inputs to respective stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the estimation division, design and Method Engineers, and Legal Department.
- Initiate and stimulate cross-functional and departmental cooperation throughout the organization.
- Effectively collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
- Manage conflict, solve problems, and mediate between different interests of multiple stakeholders.
Communication
- Communicate clearly and succinctly in oral and written form.
- Adapt communication style to the audience.
- Listen actively and reason persuasively.
Organizational Culture & Development

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent.
