Role Overview

Project Manager: Solids Control Waste Management at NOV. This role manages the technical integrity and operational execution of solids control and drilling waste management packages throughout project lifecycle, from mobilization through mechanical completion and delivery.

Role Purpose

To ensure technical integrity, safe and efficient execution, and timely delivery of solids control and drilling waste management packages while maintaining compliance with company policies, client standards, and safety protocols across all field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

• Oversee technical integrity of assigned packages in line with project requirements up to and including mechanical completion and delivery.
• Contribute to efficient project execution to the right quality, cost and time.
• Comply with company values, policies and procedures.
• Manage invoicing and ensure payment on a timely manner.

Equipment Management & Logistics

• Verify transfers of equipment and parts from well to base and from well to well.
• Verify that equipment movements are carried out in a safe manner, ensuring arrival in good condition and in accordance with transfer requirements, complying with safety and operational measures.
• Communicate to the operations department and verify that any loss or damage of equipment or parts in each movement is documented.
• Request required consumables based on field needs.
• Verify that equipment, work area and living area are in order and clean at all times during operation.

Installation, Dismantling & Operations

• Supervise and guarantee correct installation of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment at each location.
• Supervise dismantling of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment at each location, ensuring they are free from drilling mud and debris.
• Verify correct operation of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment at each location.
• Supervise and verify that the established maintenance program is carried out correctly and at the specified time.
• Perform operational and safety checklists when required by the operations department or client.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain continuous communication with the client's representative in the field during each visit, suggesting necessary recommendations for service optimization.
• Maintain continuous communication and coordination with operations personnel working at each location.
• Establish and maintain a daily report of operation activity at each location.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

• Ensure strict and mandatory compliance with safety and environmental protection policies established by the company and clients.
• Ensure correct use of equipment, materials and tools assigned for daily activities.
• Maintain continuous communication and inform the respective departments (H.R., H.S.E., Operations, Physical Security) of any incident or anomaly arising with personnel at the locations.
• Perform and keep all records designated by the QMS, ensuring personnel compliance with this requirement.
• Perform, monitor and ensure that all HSE requirements are carried out, ensuring personnel under your charge comply and deliver reports on a weekly basis.
• Perform, control and ensure that all operational requirements are carried out, ensuring personnel compliance and deliver reports on a weekly basis.
• Comply with dates stipulated for closure of anomalies raised in different projects under your responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience in all manner of Solids Control and Drilling Waste Management operations.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong experience and knowledge in waste management equipment surveys, installations and operations.
• Previous experience in Project Engineering or Management with the oil & gas industry and solids control.
• Knowledge of international Oil & Gas standards.
• Strong technical understanding and experience with engineering and project execution methods.
