Project Manager (Saudization)

Role Overview

Project Manager (Saudization) at HILL International. The role involves planning, executing, and controlling large-scale infrastructure and city development projects from initiation through completion.

Role Purpose

To plan and manage projects by developing schedules, budgets, and objectives while ensuring timely delivery within scope and cost. The position coordinates internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support smooth execution and technical feasibility, with focus on risk management, compliance, and continuous performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Manage the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

Monitoring & Control

• Monitor and control project progress and performance.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Monitor project costs and ensure cost efficiency.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

Risk & Resource Management

• Analyze project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to ensure project objectives are met.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

• Ensure compliance with project safety and quality standards.
• Inform themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HILL International, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by HILL.

Reporting & Documentation

• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Provide regular reports on project progress and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Team Support & Issue Resolution

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Identify and resolve project issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.
• Extensive experience in the project management of water and wastewater works.
• Experience of major government and/or semi-government program and projects implementations.
• A record of engagement with government entities and utility providers.
• Knowledge of professional project management processes and procedures.
• Experience of implementing a zero accident philosophy.
• Proven track record of successful project management.
