Role Purpose

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects from initial inception through completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets. The role acts as a bridge between creative teams and stakeholders, managing resources, schedules, and deliverables while supporting Egis's growth plans and serving key clients.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Define and clarify project scope, setting timelines and establishing budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, using project management software to track progress effectively.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations with clients and team members.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.

Team Leadership

• Manage and motivate design teams, assigning tasks and providing guidance and coaching.
• Assign talent and resources to projects.

Stakeholder Communication

• Keep stakeholders informed on project progress, managing expectations and addressing concerns.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming activities.

Resource Management

• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets for design initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams, marketing, product development, and external agencies to streamline workflows and resolve potential roadblocks.

Risk & Scope Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope changes and potential risks throughout the design project lifecycle, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.

Budget & Cost Management

• Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Undertake cost and commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organization collaborative teams.
• Implement strategies to manage and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed cost forecasts and budget reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends to support financial decision-making.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditures, addressing any issues that could lead to budget overruns.

Quality Assurance

• Oversee the quality of design deliverables and ensure they meet standards and possess maximum functionality.

Continuous Improvement

• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future design initiatives and team efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within design consultancy, architecture, or engineering environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of local regulations, codes, and approval processes.
• Project Management Institute PMP certification is desirable.
