Project Manager (Marine)

Role Overview

WSP Middle East Limited – Dubai Branch is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Marine) to oversee the full lifecycle of marine infrastructure projects for Abu Dhabi Ports.

Role Purpose

Lead marine infrastructure projects for Abu Dhabi Ports, delivering on scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution

• Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for marine infrastructure works.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, and award of marine contracts.
• Control change orders, variations, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with Abu Dhabi Ports, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution across all project parties.

Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor progress against KPIs, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Reporting & Performance

• Prepare and present regular status reports, financial updates, and performance dashboards to senior management.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned documentation for future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience managing large-scale marine infrastructure projects, preferably for ports or terminals.
• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, dredging, quay wall, and offshore works.
• Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to lead multicultural teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office suite.

Additional Information

• Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
